October 29, 2025 - Chatham Works is delighted to announce another round of our Local Works program, which offers discounted services to deserving members of our local community.

This round of Local Works is exclusively open to year-round Cape Cod residents aged 25 to 45 years old.

➔ Why: Cape Cod can be a challenging place to live for many people, and especially for those in this age group. Families with children can have a particularly hard time making it here. Perhaps the best indicator of this is that school enrollments in Barnstable County decreased by 16% from 2010 to 2024, vs. a 6% drop statewide and nearly flat enrollment trends nationwide. Funding:

The program is funded through the generous support of anonymous donors, and by Chatham Works through: 1) 100% of the commissions we earn from the sale of artworks on display at Chatham Works, via our Local ArtWorks program, and 2) discounts we're offering on our services.

We are offering:

★ THREE 1/2 priced Annual THE WORKS 12x memberships: Each winner will get 50% off a 12 month membership with 12 classes per month, unlimited Open Gym, an introductory consult with a Personal Trainer, a Myzone heart rate monitor, and quarterly InBody body composition analysis scans.

Regular rate = $149/mo. Offered by Chatham Works at 10% off = $134.10/mo.
Monthly cost to Local Works participant @ 50% off = $67.05.
Total annual discount vs. regular rate = $983.40 per participant.

★ ONE 1/2 priced Annual Open Gym membership: Includes 50% off a 12 month membership with unlimited Open Gym, plus the ability to purchase Class Passes at a discounted rate.

Regular rate = $89/mo. Offered by Chatham Works at 10% off = $80.10/mo.
Monthly cost to Local Works participant = $40.05/mo.
Total annual discount vs. regular rate = $587.40.

★ TWO Free Six Month Coworking Open Seating memberships: Each includes FREE access to Open Seating areas in our 2nd floor Workspace.

Regular rate = $300/mo. Offered by Chatham Works at 100% off = FREE.
Monthly cost to Local Works participant = $0.
Total 6 month discount vs. regular rate = $1,800 per participant.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible, applicants/nominees must meet the following criteria:

Apply or be nominated by someone by having them fill out the Applicant/Nominee Submission Form.
Residency: Be full time, year-round Cape Cod resident aged 25 to 45.
Commitment: Commit to making good use of the membership, and stick with that commitment for the full term. ("Use it or lose it": we reserve the right to rescind awards if they aren't being used in good faith.)
Need:This is not a lottery system. Special consideration will be given to nominees/applicants who:
- FITNESS: May not be able to afford to pay for a membership on their own due to financial reasons. (We also have a soft spot for people who are looking to improve themselves.)
- WORKSPACE: Are starting, operate, or work for a year-round entrepreneurial business (ideally headquartered on Cape Cod), and/or may not be able to afford to pay for a membership on their own due to financial reasons.

Winners:

Winners will be selected by our Staff and management, and will notified on Tues. 12/2. Memberships must start no later than 1/2/26. Winners must agree to our standard terms of service. No cash value.
