Jen Kangas
Massage Therapist
Jen has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for sixteen years, working with a wide range of clients from elite athletes to senior citizens. Her primary focus is working with clients with chronic and acute pain, helping them heal by using a variety of modalities including myofascial release, cranial sacral therapy, cupping, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage.
She has studied under numerous leaders in the Massage field, including John Barnes (Myofascial Release), Jonathan Tripodi (Body Memory Recall), Walt Fritz (Foundations of Myofascial Release), and Thomas Myers (Anatomy Trains).
A former elementary school teacher, she also spent 13 years coaching volleyball including at the college level and at the Empire State Games in NY.
Jen served as a Board Member of the Chatham Athletic Association (Chatham Anglers) for 10 years, and is actively involved in the local theater community.
